Jamie began his IT interest in 1986 when he taught himself BASIC on his TI-99/4A. He began work in IT in 1992 as a Microcomputing Lab Consultant at James Madison University (JMU). Later his IT career would carry him from Mainframe Operator to Help Desk Operator to PC/Networking Specialist to Computing Support Analyst to Webmaster to Web Developer. Currently, in addition to being on the adjunct faculty for Blue Ridge Community College, Jamie is a Senior Web Developer at JMU. Jamie earned his BBA in CIS from JMU and MA in Counseling degree from Eastern Mennonite University. Jamie’s skill set includes HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XSL (including XSLT and XPath), XML, Mason, Java, JavaFX, ASP, PHP, SQL, Perl and Velocity Script.
